PPDS is set to announce that it will become the official supplier of LED and digital signage displays to the Spotify Camp Nou stadium.

News of a partnership between the Philips professional display brand and the FC Barcelona stadium which is currently undergoing renovation, will be announced at ISE next week.

The announcement will follow last summer’s signing of a sponsorship deal between PPDS parent company TPV and FC Barcelona for the 2023-2024 season.

This sponsorship deal has seen the Philips Ambilight TV brand feature prominently on the sleeve of the men’s first team home and away football shirts.

Details emerged as PPDS parent company TP Vision this week announced a partnership with the Barça Foundation to support life-changing projects and initiatives for vulnerable children globally.

FC Barcelona’s charitable arm, the Barça Foundation last year supported projects that benefitted more than 560,000 children, families and young people across 15 countries. The club donates up to 0.7% of its annual earnings to the foundation, with players also donating 0.5% of their salaries, and the total raised in 2022-2023 exceeding €14.2 million.

The partnership with the Barça Foundation includes the entire TP Vision group and its constituent companies TP Vision, MMD Monitors and Displays, AOC and PPDS and will be channelled though TPV Cares, the home of the group’s social and environmental impact initiatives.

As part of the partnership, PPDS will include a donation of €20 for every person who registers for ISE 2024 using the unique Philips code 1RSHCRQR and has their badge scanned at the Philips stand (3P500) reception desk during the show.
