Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS), a company specialising in control room video walls and audiovisual (AV) technologies, is expanding its network of demonstration rooms across the United Kingdom.

The move will allow a wide range of sectors, including CCTV, security and traffic control to see products which can help them.

The latest UVS demo room to be opened comprises a video wall and UVS Lucidity video wall controller technology, at a video management software manufacturer’s HQ in Uxbridge.

Thanks to similar partnership agreements, Lucidity is also installed and operational for demonstration purposes at sites in central London and Sheffield.

These are in addition to the demonstration room at UVS headquarters at the Burnley First – Burnley Business Centre, which has just undergone a £30,000 technology upgrade.

The HQ demo room now includes the latest in operator personal workspace solutions, enhanced UVS Lucidity video wall controller technology and a new LED video wall.

UVS managing director Steve Murphy said the company was hoping to add to the list of demo rooms in the near future to help cope with increased demand for the technology solutions it offers.

He added: “Over the last few years we have been particularly successful at providing real-time online demos to partners and potential clients but having a network of demo rooms provides another string to our bow in terms of having Lucidity installed and operational for demonstration purposes, both by the partner and by ourselves.”

UVS announced a partnership with Wavestore, a security video management software firm, in November last year. The two companies partnered to integrate Lucidity wall controllers, and other solutions at Wavestore’s Uxbridge-based headquarters.

Doing so will provide clients interested in Wavestore’s technologies with demonstrations using Lucidity video wall features and Wavestore’s video management platform.

At the Uxbridge facility, two-by-two 55-inch video walls will display both firms’ technological solutions for controlling websites, remote workstation applications, device input collaboration, and others.

Visitors can see in person how to share their mobile device data on the video wall wirelessly with the partnership’s AV innovations
