Global EdTech company Promethean has appointed Ingram Micro to distribute its ActivPanel range of interactive flat panel displays (IFPDs) in Great Britain.

The company will work alongside incumbent distributor, Midwich, to offer Promethean’s partners increased flexibility and choice

Ingram Micro will stock the full Promethean range, with product available for shipping from February. Exertis continues to be Promethean’s exclusive distributor in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Raj Pandya, director of specialty solutions at Ingram Micro UK, said: “The collaboration between Ingram Micro and Promethean will provide innovative solutions that cater to the requirements of the IFPD industry, serving the market and delivering top-quality products throughout the UK.”

Simon Port, head of the UKI and ANZ markets at Promethean, said: “Promethean’s product offering has expanded over the past 12 months.

“With the launch of ActivPanel LX, we’re moving into wider markets and appealing to a diverse budget range. Ingram Micro has an established reseller base that aligns with these target audiences, particularly in the broadline IT space.

“Partnering with Ingram Micro and Midwich gives us the infrastructure to support our partners to be successful, while providing a solid platform for future growth.”
