Rangers FC has partnered with Grabyo to move its social and video production to the cloud, boosting the club’s video production and real-time content output.

The club will use Grabyo’s live clipping and editing tools to create more videos around match day at the Glasgow club, keeping fans engaged by delivering promos and recaps.

Grabyo offers flexible pricing, with usage-based plans that grow with output, meaning that the social media team is able to scale the use of cloud-based services and video production tools in line with their budget.

Rangers can now produce high-quality social video and live streaming in the cloud without having to compromise on stability or quality, and the core production team can also operate in a hybrid environment, working anywhere in the world using just an internet connection and web browser.

Simplification of the workflow will help Rangers be first to market with content keeping fans up to date in real-time, increasing engagement across the club’s domestic and fast-growing international fanbase

“Partnering with Grabyo gives us the flexibility to scale our digital content offering and connect with our fans any day, at any time across our channels,” said James Bisgrove, commercial and marketing director at Rangers FC.

“We are able to take our social channels to the next level, whilst managing our investment in workflows and capacity, Our team can collaborate more efficiently without wasting time, money or resources on tools that don’t help us get where we need to go.”

“Working with one of the most recognisable and historic clubs in the world of football is exciting for everyone at Grabyo,” said Gareth Capon, CEO at Grabyo. “As we continue to expand the scope of our video production, streaming and editing tools in the cloud it’s great to offer customers the flexibility to buy what they want, when they need it. This is set to be a great partnership and we look forward to getting started.”
