The AV Awards has raised £13,200 for Taylor-Made Dreams, a charity which makes dreams happen for children with life-limiting illnesses.

Participants at the event were able to bid for auction prizes and play at casino tables.

Taylor-Made Dreams was set up by CEO Suzi Mitchell in memory of her son Taylor. In addition to making sick children’s dream comes true, the charity provides support services to immediate family, including counselling, holistic therapy, medical travel grants, a sibling support service and a technology loan library.

Taylor-Made Dreams founder and CEO Suzi Mitchell: “Your contributions will go straight towards making dreams come true’

Speaking after the event, Suzi Mitchell, said: “The AV awards night not only raised the fantastic sum of £13,200. It also allowed us to raise awareness of Taylor-Made Dreams to a new audience which we will forever be grateful for. Awareness of what Taylor-Made Dreams does is as crucial to us as fundraising, as the more people that know about us, the more support we can offer families in truly difficult and inconceivable circumstances.

“I’d like to thank all the generous bidders for the auction prizes, and those who participated in the casino tables. We hope you enjoy your prizes, and hope you enjoyed your time at the tables – your contributions are going straight towards making dreams come true for children with life-limiting illnesses.”
