Midwich Group’s AV on Air – a professional production space for attendees to use at ISE– is back for 2024.

For the second year, the space is available to book from 30 January to 2 February 2024 by ISE visitors, who have not got the required technology, to capture content while at the Barcelona-based show.

Located on the Midwich Group stand in hall three (3R150), the space will be professionally managed by a production technician from Holdan (the specialist broadcast, media, and entertainment division of Midwich Ltd) and will allow users to record content with up to four people. There are no livestreaming capabilities, but users will receive professionally produced content after their session. Alternatively, if they’d prefer to edit the material themselves, they’ll receive the raw footage.

Chris Neto, market development manager at Starin, said: “It’s fantastic to bring AV on Air to ISE again. During ISE 2023, the space was used by recognised industry peers, and it was great to see the content that was produced. For 2024, we are excited to have members from Holdan, who are experienced video and broadcast specialists, on hand to ensure AV on Air users get their desired footage.”

Visitors to the stand can also watch AV on Air users while they record their content via the window or the screens outside the studio.

Last year’s hosts and guests included Mike Blackman (managing director of ISE), Iffat Chaudhry (bid manager for Involve Visual Collaboration and founder of the ‘WhatIff?’ podcast), Mark Coxon (business development director – XTG from AVI-SPL), Justin Dawson (senior technical officer at Dublin City University), and Joe Way (Chair of HETMA).

Jenny Hicks, head of technology at Midwich Group Plc, added: “We are delighted to welcome guests back to our stand and our dedicated recording space, AV on Air. To have the support of the Holdan team is a great addition to the studio and if users have video graphics and overlays that they want to use, they can discuss their requirements with the team who’ll be able to help.

“Like last time, both Chris and I will be using the studio to pre-record ISE-related content for our show, Midwich Live, so come and say hi.”

One-hour slots are available and can be booked by contacting Chris Neto on chris.neto@starin.biz.
