Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard is to be livestreamed at Outernet London on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December, from 6pm.

The Jingle Bell Ball is a concert held annually in December since 2008, by Capital FM radio station at The O2 Arena. Confirmed artists for 2023 include Alicia Keys, Take That, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill, Busted and Rita Roa.

The ball will be shown at Outernet’s Now Building, displayed on floor-to-ceiling LED screens that are four storeys high, with 360° visibility and 16K resolution. The watch party will also benefit from full directional surround sound.

The livestream will be accompanied by an interactive Snow Globe with a photographer on hand to snap photos of guests for an instant digital takeaway. There will also be a seating area to enjoy the show, a hot chocolate stand and Capital’s Jingle Bell merch giveaways for Barclaycard customers.

The watch party will be provided by streaming service Global Player, and will also be available via Global Player online. As part of Global’s partnership with TV channels ITV, ITV1 and ITVX, there will also be a broadcast with all the best bits from the concert later in December.

In addition to the livestream, partygoers can submit Instagram, TikTok and X content to be displayed on Outernet screens, as well as on Global’s digital billboards in London and across the UK. The social media posts will be curated to generate real-time, digital posters that will be visible to millions of people on the London Underground, in Leicester Square, and further afield on BT Street Hubs.
