Microsoft Teams Rooms has enjoyed nine consecutive quarters of triple-digit revenue growth, according to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

Speaking in a first-quarter earnings conference call, he added that more than 10,000 paid customers now use Teams Premium.

Teams itself now has more than 320 million monthly active users, and a new version of Teams introduced this quarter is up to two times faster while using 50% less memory.

There are now more than 2,000 apps in the Teams store, and collaborative apps from Adobe, Atlassian and Workday each exceeded one

Nadella also said that tens of thousands of employees are using Copilot in an early access programme at more than 40% of the Fortune 100 top companies in America. This includes companies such as Bayer, KPMG, Mayo Clinic, Suncorp, and Visa.

“Customers tell us that once they use Copilot, they can’t imagine work without it, and we are excited to make it generally available for enterprise customers next week,” Nadella said.
