PSCo adds Barco projectors to UK rental-ready portfolio

Trade-only display and video specialist PSCo has introduced Barco projectors to its portfolio.

PSCo added Barco’s Event Master image processing solutions to its range last year, and the move into DLP projection technology expands the array of technologies available to rental partners.

PSCo has introduced the UDM-4K30 3-chip DLP, which is the lightest laser projector in the 30K lumen category, boasting a 27,000 lumens output.

The G62-W14 single-chip DLP laser projector, a compact and powerful 13,600 lumen WUXGA unit, and a range of TLD+ lenses will also be available for rental.

The deal adds value to Barco in the UK rental space as partners can now access cross-hire projector bodies and lenses more easily, without worrying about freight delays from Europe.

Tom Allott, PSCo’s asset manager, said: “We are excited to be adding the UDM and G62 DLP series to our fleet, complementing our existing portfolio of projection products to give our trade partners a much wider range of projection solutions across different technologies and brightness levels, along with rental-ready accessory packages including lenses, hanging mounts and frames.”

Barco’s country manager for the UK and Ireland, Ashley Raines, said: “For the first time, Barco projectors and the full suite of lenses and accessories are rental-ready and available in the UK, giving customers easy access to a range of projector options and brightness levels for a multitude of rental applications, with added access to PSCo’s trade-only support services.”

Midwich & PSCo will continue to distribute Barco live-events projectors exclusively in the UK for trade purchase.
