Architectural audio manufacturer Origin Acoustics has launched a brand dedicated to the pro AV market.
The Origin Pro range, which will be exclusively distributed by US-based Starin, comprises in-ceiling, surface-mount and pendant speakers in 5″, 6″ and 8″ models. An 8″ subwoofer is available in pendant and in-ceiling form factors.
The new division will be managed by commercial vice-president Joe Whitaker, who was previously vice-president of business development at Origin Acoustics.
“Starin’s internal process is like Origin Pro’s in many ways, from customer outreach and support to its design services” he said. “We could not have found a better partner to align with for the commercial market.”
Bill Reimer, Starin’s sales vice-president, said: “With Starin’s continued focus on providing dealers with the highest-quality pro audio solutions, we are proud to add Origin Pro as a new vendor. Origin has a long heritage as a leader in audio and has established itself as an innovative company manufacturing unique devices that enhance the meeting space experience.”
Origin Pro’s entire range of commercial and professional audio products will be on show at CEDIA Expo, which takes place in Denver on 7-9 September.
