AVM has entered into a strategic partnership with Fujifilm to supply the brand’s FP-Z range of ultra-short-throw projectors.

The multi-brand AV distributor will support customers from the specification stage right through to installation and ongoing support.

The FP-Z range, which comprises the FP-Z8000 and FP-Z6000, can be used in a wide range of applications, from boardrooms and conferences to exhibition, museum and hospitality installations.

Both projectors feature a Fujifilm unique folded lens, which can be rotated without creating distortion and projects a high-quality image to every corner of the screen. With a throw ratio of 0.34, they can project images of up to 300″ from ultra-close range.

AVM’s business development manager, Danielle Williams, said: “Not only do these projectors perform to reference levels, the installation versatility is unique, allowing installers to fit projectors into installations that before would have seemed impossible.”

Theo Georghiades, Fujifilm’s general manager of imaging solutions UK, said: “When looking for a commercial partner, AVM was the obvious choice. Not only does it have a great reputation among installers and specifiers, but its rental team is very active, which is particularly attractive for this project. The AVM team shares our passion for delivering truly exceptional installations.”

To kick off the partnership, AVM will be hosting its customers and media at the FujiFilm House of Photography in Covent Garden on 9 November. For further details, click here.
