Biamp sponsors BattleBots Las Vegas robot fighting show

BattleBots Destruct-A-Thon features 24 Community IV6 line array loudspeakers in the combat cage, as well as Desono ENT212 column point source and EXS8 surface mount loudspeakers.

Biamp has been appointed the official audio provider for the BattleBots Destruct-A-Thon robot fighting show at Caesars Entertainment Studios in Las Vegas.

The BattleBots arena features 24 Community IV6 line array loudspeakers in the combat cage, as well as Amplified Loudspeaker Controllers (ALCs) and a TesiraFORTÉ AI digital signal processor.

The VIP area include 10 Desono ENT212 column point source loudspeakers and associated amplifiers. Four Desono EXS8 surface mount loudspeakers have been installed in the store and another 16 in the lobby. The gift shop area also features two Community IV6 line array loudspeakers, four Community compact subwoofers and ALCs.

Joe Andrulis, Biamp’s executive vice-president of corporate development, said: “Biamp is amped to partner with the world’s largest and only professional robot fighting sport, providing an array of premium loudspeakers, amplifiers and accessories that will engage fans in an immersive sensory environment unlike anything they could experience on TV screens.”

Local integrator PSX AV Las Vegas provided installation and support services for the project.
