Level 3-NTS Coach TRAINER Course

The Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer certification is an additional certification current USA Archery Level 4-NTS and Level 5-NTS coaches may obtain in order to be certified to teach the Level 3-NTS Coach course. The goal of the Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer certification program is to ensure USA Archery Level 3-NTS Coach Certification Practical courses are taught in correctly and consistently nationwide.

Upon successful completion of the Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer Online Course, each student will be certified as a Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer and qualified to teach the Level 3-NTS Coach Practical Course. 


USA Archery, the National Field Archery Association and the Archery Shooters Association recognize coach certification under a joint certification program. USA Archery administers the certification program on behalf of all organizations.


COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon successful participation in this course, coach trainers will be able to do the following:


• Facilitate the modules for the Level 3-NTS Practical Course
• Understand and apply a variety of facilitation tools and skills to promote student learning and retention of information and skills
• Understand and apply concepts of the 3 Stages of Motor Learning
• Evaluate a student’s ability to model the Steps of the National Training System
• Evaluate a student’s ability to teach archery at the appropriate skill level
• Evaluate a student’s ability to develop effective training session plans
• Know how to organize and sanction a Level 3-NTS Practical Course
• Know how to award certifications at the completion of the Level 3-NTS Practical Course
